About PatzCatz

PatzCatz is an exclusive cattery in Sarisbury Green run by a Registered Veterinary Nurse. The cat pens are purpose built from PVCu and are fully insulated with two individual radiators in the spacious sleeping rooms. We have two different designs of pens:

The Penthouses are designed like a house with personal staircase from the exercise area to the sleeping room above. The sleeping room has two fully opening doors, one of which is glass so the cats can see out and still keep nice and warm in the colder weather and can be opened up in the warmer weather, which the cats love. There is a cat flap in the other door. Each pen has its own sunbathing shelf, toys and activities and can take up to three cats comfortably.

The Bungalows are designed with two rooms. The exercise area in front following through to the sleeping room via a fully glazed door with a cat flap in a side panel. The sleeping room is laid out on two levels, ground floor with stair access to the sleeping shelf (most cats jump up!). The cats can sit in bed in the warm and look out on to the garden. Although these pens were designed for cats that cannot climb stairs, these rooms work really well for the multi-cat, multi mobility family, the older cat (sleeps downstairs) and the more agile cat can then choose where to sleep – so much choice....

All of PatzCatz pens are large, giving both a single or multi cat household plenty of room. The penthouses can accommodate up to three guests. The bungalows can cater for up to four guests or three infirm guests (downstairs only). Some of the pens can be turned into yet larger pens for the four plus family.We try to accommodate all the needs of our guests and will decide which pen would best suit them with the information you give us on our Booking Form.

The pens look over the environmentally friendly garden where there is always something interesting going on with the pond, vegetable garden and the general garden activities.

PatzCatz is run by Pat Brazier and her family team! Pat and John have been living in this area for over 25 years. Pat is a registered Veterinary Nurse of many, many years standing with a wide variety of experiences. She was a Guide Dog puppy walker and works part time at the local Coldeast Veterinary Surgery, a branch surgery of BeechHouse Veterinary Centre. Now with grown up children and various pet animals diminishing she wanted to change her lifestyle and hence the Cat Hotel was born.

John is in the computing field and has built and will maintain the web site and all the computer based services for PatzCatz, along with various other projects. He is a good supporting member of this team.
