Brazier Systems & Consultants are a Software house with many years experience
writing bespoke software. Most software is written in C and often runs under the Unix
Operating System or its derivatives (e.g. Linux or LynxOS).
Device Drivers
Unix Device Drivers are a speciality, especially for new or custom made hardware.
Scientific Work
We work extensively in the area of scientific and process control software, much of it
as embedded, real-time systems.
Current work includes projects for CERN in Geneva. One such project
(known as ROCS/Mugef) is a system for control of the SPS Power
Converters which is now operational. A joint paper on the work was presented at
ICALEPCS'95 and can be viewed here. The software
now being used in other areas within CERN and is available for other applications.
An update paper was presented at ICALEPCS'01 in San Jose and can be viewed here.
Recently we have collaborated on the gateway software for the new LHC Power
Converters. We co-authored a paper
on this at ICALEPCS'01 as well.

We have experience of Financial Information Systems particularly with Reuters SSL
Applications.
