Course Syllabus
Linux™ Fundamentals

An introductory Linux course for those wishing to start from an installed base.  This course features an introduction to Linux on a Workstation plus some basic (non-networked) system administration and some simple Shell Scripting. The course uses both GUI and command line approaches.

A feature of this course is that it is available either in a Red Hat version or using the very popular Knoppix Linux system.  Knoppix has the advantage that it is a full featured Linux system that runs off a CD.  Delegates get to take the Knoppix CD away with them at the end of the course.

Intended for anybody that wants to start using a Linux system effectively in a short space of time.

  4. The length of the Course is normally three or four days.
  5. Knoppix presentations need to prior system setup since the software runs off CD.
